GREE Singapore KOT Program
Terms of Participation
Version 1.0 · Effective [01 Nov 2026]
Thank you for applying to join the GREE KOT (Key Opinion Technician) Program. Before you complete your registration, please read the following terms carefully. The latest GREE KOT Program reward poster and the Anti-Fraud & Non-Payment Guidelines form part of these terms, and you can read both before you click “Agree”. By clicking “Agree”, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to all of these terms, and formally apply to register for the Program. If you do not agree, please do not click “Agree”. (Electronic execution under the Singapore Electronic Transactions Act 2010.)
1. Nature of Participation
This is a terms-of-participation notice, not an employment contract. Participation in the Program does not create any employment, agency or partnership relationship between you and GREE Airconditioning Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“GREE”).
2. Rewards
Rewards under the Program are as set out in the latest official GREE KOT Program poster published by GREE. GREE may update the poster and reward terms from time to time, and the latest published poster will apply. The reward rate in force on the date you submit a lead applies to that lead. Rewards you have already earned will still be paid after any change. Rewards are paid weekly, as explained on the poster.
3. Your Status
You may join the Program as an independent contractor or freelancer. If you are an employee of another company, you may participate only with your employer’s written consent, which you must upload when you register. If you hold a Work Permit or S Pass, GREE may ask for extra documents to check that you are allowed to take part.
4. Your Information and Account
You must give true and complete information when you register, and keep it up to date. You may have only one KOT account. Rewards are paid only to a bank or PayNow account in your own name.
5. No Fraud or Misrepresentation
Fraud or deliberate misrepresentation (including false data, self-referral, fake leads, duplicate accounts, false invoices or misuse of another person’s identity) will result in immediate cancellation of your KOT status, even if you have already been approved. “False data” means information that you know is untrue, or untrue information that you repeat after GREE has told you about it. If you make an honest mistake, such as a typing error, GREE will ask you to correct it and give you a warning first. Detailed anti-fraud rules are set out in the Anti-Fraud & Non-Payment Guidelines, which form part of these terms.
6. Honest and Fair Conduct
When you talk about GREE, online or offline, you must be honest and fair. This covers all ads, posts, videos, messages, and anything you say to customers or the public. You must:
(a) use only the wording, offers and materials approved by GREE, and not promise anything that GREE has not approved;
(b) not post, say or share anything false or misleading about GREE, its products, its services, its staff or its dealers, and not post fake reviews or fake offers;
(c) not say bad things about GREE, its products or its staff, in public, online or to customers, in order to hurt GREE’s name or to push a customer to another brand;
(d) use GREE’s name, logo and pictures only as shown in GREE’s approved materials, or with GREE’s written permission, and not run paid online ads that use GREE’s name or GREE keywords without GREE’s written permission;
(e) make it clear when a post about GREE is a partnership or paid post (for example, with “#GREEKOT” or “#ad”), and follow Singapore advertising rules;
(f) not say or suggest that you work for GREE; and
(g) take down or correct any post, ad or video that breaks these rules within 48 hours of GREE asking you to.
You may still tell GREE about any real product or service problem, through your GREE contact person. Nothing in this section stops you from telling the truth to a court, the police or a government body, or from saying anything the law requires.
If you break these rules, GREE may hold back rewards linked to the content, cancel your KOT status, and ask you to pay for any loss caused. These rules continue for 12 months after your KOT status ends.
7. Personal Data
GREE collects your registration information to verify eligibility, process rewards, and communicate about the Program, in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012. Your KOT name and KOT number will be shown to customers who register through your link, and will be shared with GREE’s authorised dealers who follow up on those customers’ enquiries. By clicking “Agree”, you consent to this.
8. Changes and Termination
GREE may amend, suspend or terminate the Program at any time. Your continued participation after any change means you accept the updated terms. GREE’s decision on Program matters is final.
9. Governing Law
This notice is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
By clicking “Agree”, you formally apply to register for the GREE KOT Program.
